Daniel Pecaut has suffered from asthma all his life, but in 2013 his health began to deteriorate. The Sioux City Journal reported that the financial advisor was diagnosed with the chronic lung condition bronchiectasis and was told little could be done to cure him and that he should try not to get sick.
Pecaut decided to take a different route in healthcare and started to investigate traditional Eastern healing therapies. He began using a mixture of modern medicine and ancient eastern treatments such as acupuncture, meditation, and homeopathic remedies.
The businessman from Iowa claims that in a year his lungs had returned to normal and he was feeling healthy again, so much so that he has written a book about his journey with eastern medicine and bronchiectasis.
