The two talk about how their roles changed following Lauren’s lung transplant as she gained independence and was less reliant on her mother, allowing her mom to return to work and Lauren to move out of the family home. Although Lauren needs to take medication for her lung transplant, she no longer needs daily physiotherapy and nebulizers.
